ECHO Autism

Project ECHO Autism is an innovative movement working to improve health for children with autism spectrum disorders. It allows primary care providers or Birth to Three therapists to virtually connect with autism specialists for guidance on your child’s care.

The Project ECHO (Extension of Healthcare Outcomes) model seeks to share specialized care information with primary care providers on the frontline. Originally pioneered to care for rural patients with Hepatitis C, it is now used to treat a variety of conditions across the world. Learn more by watching this video about the ECHO model

Advocate Children’s Hospital is proud to bring this revolutionary care model to the state of Illinois in order to support providers caring for your child with autism. We have programs for primary care providers and for Birth to Three therapists.
